Scholarships Information

G. O. I. Scholarships Freeships Awards Prizes Etc.

(1) (a) Government of India (Post Matric (S. S. C.) Scholarship to B. C. Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, D. N. T., V. J. N. T., Buddhist Students) and Freeship for B. C. Students.

(b) Open Merit Scholarship to S. C. and Non S. C. students.

(c) Children of Widows of Soldiers, etc.

Every student belonging to one of the above categories and seeking admission to the College on the strength of that Category has to fill in either the Government of India Post S. S. C. Scholarship Form or B. C. Free ship Form depending on the income of his / her parent / guardian.

A student belonging to one of the above categories who does not submit the prescribed form duly filled-in, in all respects, along with the respective authorities from time to time within the specified time limit will have to pay the entire fees for both the terms.

(2) Students of the above categories seeking admission will be issued G. O. I. Scholarship Forms, B. C. Freeship Forms by the Scholarship Clerk at the College Office Counter on production of:

(a) Identity Card duly signed by the Principal.
(b) Caste Certificate from a District Magistrate or Authorities empowered by him.
(c) Income Certificate of the Parent / Guardian giving full details of the yearly income of the Parent / Guardian.
(d) Hostel Rector’s Certificate in case of students staying in the College Hostel.

  1. 1. Ex-students are hereby inform that they should submit their first year’s Online Scholarship / Freeship Form.
  2. 2. All the students of SC & ST, notes that (whose income is below 2-lacks) without income certificate from Tahasildar office their scholarship will not sanction.
  3. 3. All the students of OBC, SBC, VJ/NT notes that without creme layer certificate their freeship will not sanction.
  4. 4. All the students of OBC, SBC, VJ/NT notes that without Income Certificate from Tahasildar office their scholarship and freeship will not be sanctioned.

  1. 1. The students belonging to SC/ST/DNT/VJT seeking admission to F. Y. J. C. (Std. XIth) should collect G. O. I. / B. C. Freeship Forms from Scholarship Clerk on production of last year’s income certificate of his / her parents.
  2. 2. The G. O. I. Scholarship / B. C. Freeship Forms should be accompanied with Xerox Copy of Caste Certificate issued by Dist. Collector. The Original caste certificate should be produced for verification at the time of submission of the Form.
  3. 3. The students who will not submit duly filled in G. O. I. Scholarship / B. C. Freeship Forms in prescribed time will have to pay full fees of both the terms.

  1. 1. The students claiming Freeship under above Schemes should collect the Forms from Scholarship Clerk and submit the same duly filled in to the Scholarship Clerk and obtain a receipt to that effect.
  2. 2. The duly filled in G. O. I. Scholarship Form / B. C. Freeship form along with all the required documents (mentioned in that form) and 2 passport size photographs with student’s signatures on that will be accepted by the Scholarship Clerk at the College Office Counter and a receipt will be given for them.
